Charles Worthington Mineral Hair Rescue Masque Review

Charles Worthington Mineral Hair Rescue Mask

Charles Worthington Mineral Hair Rescue Mask

Charles Worthington is one of my favourite hair care brands because their prices are pretty reasonable, their products work well with my hair type and always smell amazing!  However, in the past I had only tried their shampoo's and conditioners... until now!

This Charles Worthington hair treatment is enriched with the natural moisturiser Argan Oil, an ingredient which is now present in a wide number of hair products on the market and something I tend to look out for when buying a product as it makes my hair very soft, smooth and nourished.  Mineral Hair Rescue also contains Marine minerals and conditioning proteins which help to restore dry and damaged hair.

Mineral Hair Rescue is a rich, thick, intensive hair treatment which I try to use around once a week.  It can be applied in three ways.

  1. Applied after your shampoo and left on your hair for a few minutes before rinsing.  I also use conditioner after this too.
  2. Squeeze excess water out of freshly washed hair (do not towel dry) and massage treatment into hair and scalp.  Leave for a few minutes before rinsing.
  3. After washing your hair apply Mineral Hair Rescue and wrap your hair in a warm towel.  Leave in for 15 minutes and wash out.
I have tried all three approaches but tend to stick to number one as it's the simplest and quickest to do.  I feel like number 3 really does nourish my hair as the masque has a lot more time to work but I don't often do it as it's a little messy and time consuming.

The results after all three application methods are brilliant.  My hair is left feeling soft, smooth, hydrated and nourished.  It has a gorgeous shine to it and is also very easy to style.

I really love the Charles Worthington Mineral Hair Rescue.  It smells good, lasts a reasonably long time and nourishes my hair without weighing it down.  This is a product I will definitely be repurchasing and makes me want to try some of the other treatments this brand has on offer.

You can buy Mineral Hair Rescue from Boots for £5.99 which is great value for money!

  6. Nice post! Once you make sure the oil is not too hot for your hands or scalp, divide your hair into segments on top of your hand and take the oil and massage it into your scalp in circular motions. This promotes blood flow and circulation and also helps to make your scalp stronger.
