Mothers Day is fast approaching (30th March) and if you are yet to buy your mum a little something this post contains some gift ideas you may like! I've purposely picked them from high street stores rather than online because with Mothers Day only being a few days away they wouldn't arrive in time. So here are my ideas...

Being a Lush fan it would be wrong not to include any of their products here and what better way to treat your mum than to give her something to pamper herself? I've chosen the Lush Secret Garden Bath Bomb as I bought this for my mum last year and she loves it. We're not big fans of green so the colour isn't one of our favourite's but the flower decoration is cute and the scent is beautifully floral!

If you're looking to splash a little more cash this Mothers Day then a perfume is a great idea. One that is in my collection is the Jimmy Choo fragrance which is really beautiful and would suit a variety of ages. The packaging is also super cute!

You can't beat a beautiful bouquet of flowers and I find the quality of the Marks and Spencer ones to be brilliant.  They have a variety of colours and sizes so whatever your budget you should be able to find something that is perfect for your mum.

Like me, my mum loves candles and a great inexpensive alternative to high end brands such as Jo Malone or your usual Yankee Candles are those by Next. Depending on the size of the store they offer a variety or sized candles in different scents and often have pretty candle holders too.

Being a beauty blogger I often buy my mum gifts related to skin care or cosmetics as it's something I know a lot about and my mum enjoys them too.  I've chosen a gorgeous pampering product by Sanctuary Spa which would make a really lovely gift because it is a product that would often get used and the packaging is lovely. As an alternative, if you wanted to do more along the beauty theme then how about putting together your own gift box? It's great because it is unique and you can spend as much or as little as you like on it. I did this for my mum's Birthday last year and she absolutely loved it! See it here.

What do you think of my gift ideas?

  1. That candle by Next looks so much more high end than a standard Next candle! I almost want to buy myself one instead of my Mum! ;)
