RE-DISCOVERED PRODUCTS #2

Re-discovered Products Re-discovered Products Re-discovered Products Re-discovered Products

A couple of weeks ago I featured my recently re-discovered products but as there were so many I wanted to spread them over two posts.  You can read the products I included in my first one here.  I love re-discovering products because it feels like you're using something brand new and you are also reminded what you loved about the products in the first place.  Here are the products I have re-discovered over the past couple of months are below:

Lush Mint Lip Scrub // Link

The cold weather has been playing havoc with my lips so they have been a little drier than normal. To help combat this, over the past few weeks I have been using my Lush Lip Scrub in Mint which is brilliant. After using this product my lips are left feeling soft and smooth plus it tastes delicious which is an added bonus!

Rimmel Apocalips // Link

Last year when Rimmel Apocalips hit the shelves there was a huge amount of hype surrounding them. I was one of those people as I love most of the colours in the range as well as the thick pigmented formula and fresh watermelon scent.  When going through my Muji drawers a couple of weekends ago I spotted them and was reminded how lovely they are. The colours I have here are Nova, Celestial and Apocoliptic

Nivea Daily Essentials Express Hydration Primer // Link

The Nivea Hydration primer is the first I have used combined with a moisturiser.  I re-discovered this product when my favourite primer, Porefessional by Benefit ran out and I was on the hunt for the last bit of my Smashbox Photo Finish Primer. Instead I came across this one and I've enjoyed using it on and off. I will probably use it every now and then until I finish it but I wouldn't re-purchase it because I do prefer using my primer and moisturiser separately. It is a great no fuss quick to use product, though.

MAC Soft and Gentle // Link

I re-discovered Soft and Gentle after seeing it spring up on a lot of blog posts recently.  It reminded me how beautiful it is and I have used it every day over the past four weeks or so.  It gives my cheeks a beautiful shimmer that looks like a natural glow rather than too in your face and I love it.

Have you tried any of these products?

  3. Definitely need to pull my apocalips out of my drawers too - for whatever reason, they've been a little neglected recently, i'm sure they'll be well loved again very soon though! Great post!

  5. Tempted by the lip scrub but still wary of Lush products and not quite knowing where I am with them. Very nice looking though and if makes your lips feel really good a bonus.
