Lifestyle | 2015 Jar of Happiness

Jar of Happiness

2015 is a special year for me as I'm getting married in September so my Fiance and I decided that we would create a jar of happiness. It's a really simple idea but I think it will be fun to do, make us focus on positive things plus be very exciting to look back through at the end of the year.

All you do to create a jar of happiness is to choose a container and during the year whenever something happens that makes you happy whether it be a fun evening with family or friends, something someone said, a good deed you have done you pop it on a piece of paper and place it in the jar. Then at the end of the year (don't take a sneaky peek before!) you read through all you the happy memories you experienced during the year.

It's a super cute idea that isn't time consuming at all and can be done with as many people as you like!

Will you be creating a jar of happiness?

  1. I did this last year and it was so nice to look back on. Mine is in a Mason jar as my son's name is Mason so it seemed fitting! I've already started adding to this years one, I plan to have loads of envelopes that mark each year with all of the notes inside and have years of lovely memories to look back on.

  6. To be honest, I came across this post thanks to your giveaway and liking posts on Bloglovin, and thank you for that task! I've heard once for a similar idea, but I forgot it, don't really know how.. You reminded me how great this idea is and how great it must be to open it after a year and remember all those lovely moments :) I'm going to make my jar od happiness right now :)
