Firstly, apologies the background of the photo is Christmas themed. I got a few things in the Lush Boxing Day sale (read my haul post here) and I took photo's of the products for my reviews before I used them so they still looked nice and didn't think ahead oops. The glitter is from other products.
I've tried a couple of the Lush Shampoo bars in the past and have always been impressed, particularly by Seanik (read my review here) so when I saw they had one in my all time favourite Lush scent Honey I Washed My Hair I just had to buy it, in fact I got two for good measure. This scent is the same as the soap and and Honey Bee bath bomb and is deliciously sweet but not sickly in the slightest.. I love it.
The shampoo bars are much easier to use than you may first think as you simply wet them and rub them directly onto your hair. Within seconds the toffee scent starts to fill the bathroom and the shampoo begins to lather. You then just wash your hair as normal.
This shampoo bar leaves my hair soft and shiny thanks to the wonderful properties of honey which is also said to be moisturising. Honey I Washed My Hair also contains orange and bergamot oils which are said to be refreshing, uplifting and cleansing. After using this shampoo my hair feels clean and soft plus doesn't frizz on drying which is perfect. Strangely I find some products I use have this affect so that's a key thing for me when purchasing hair care products.
You can buy the Honey I Washed My Hair Shampoo Bar from Lush for £5.75 which is a total bargain as they say you can get up to 80 washes from it. I would also recommend purchasing one of the tins to store it in otherwise as does tend to make a bit of a mess on the side of the bath or wherever you leave it until it dries.
What do you think of the Lush Shampoo bars?
